PoleCon 2016 was EPIC!
It was held in Fort Worth, TX this year (first time ever being in Texas):

I got to meet CGP supports from all over the country:
and while all of that was amazing and wonderful, my life literally changed when I got to share the stage with 6 inspiring curvy pole dancers at the Dangerous Curves Showcase! Roz the Diva attempted an iron X – something she’s been working on for the past two years. In that moment, she inspired us all and reminded us that we should strive for progress, not perfection. She showed us that it’s ok to not get something right, as long as you never stop trying. She ended up still killing it in typical Roz the Diva fashion, but it didn’t stop the performance from being an empowering moment
All in all, I left PoleCon feeling energized, hype about next year and grateful that I was able to share the stage with these women who I look up to and admire so much and be considered one of them. Truly an unforgettable event.
